AOL Users:
To view graphics in all their splendor, you must
click off the Default Option for Compressing Web Graphics.
* The directions below are for 4.0 users, 3.0
might be
slightly different, but should be in same general area.*
Turning Off Compressing Web Graphics Option:

For Win 98' Users: To do this go to My AOL on the tool bar, choose Preferences, Go to WWW, you will see 4 tabs: General, Security, Content & Web Graphics, Choose Web Graphics & remove the check in the box that states Use Compress Graphics. |
For Win 95' Users: To do this go to My AOL on the tool bar, choose Preferences, Go to WWW, you will see 5 tabs: General, Navigation, Security, Advanced & Web Graphics, Choose Web Graphics & remove the check in the box that states:Use Compress Graphics. |
Be sure to dump your cache files & refresh any pages you are currently viewing. |

For Win 95' Users: Go to My AOL on the tool bar, choose Preferences, Go to the fourth tab, Advanced, Look for Temporary Internet Files, click on Settings, and then Empty Folder. It will ask you if you want to dump all temporary internet files, hit okay. |
Each time you visit a page, the information is saved in a temporary internet file,this is called your Cache File. This is done so that the next time you visit the page the information will load quickly. The saved pages use up space on your hard drive and should be deleted every so often. |
